What do you want to know about me?

Who am I? I was always called “Little Miss Canada” by relatives because I was born on Canada Day, which is July 1st. I’m very lucky because I always get fireworks on my birthday.

Where do I live? What do I do? What do I like? The beautiful city of Vancouver, BC is my home. I know it sounds strange, but the more I travel, the more I love it here. The beach is ten minutes away, the ski hills are an hour’s drive, and in between is lush rain forest to traipse through with my man and my dog. When I’m not working on my site I love to garden, cook, photograph the beautiful nature around me, ride my bike around the town and walk my dog just about everywhere we can go. I’m not a big tv watcher. In fact, when we moved to our current house, we simply didn’t reconnect the cable. Why pay $60 a month for shows that are re-broadcast online for free? I keep up with Canucks hockey at the CBC website and everything else is similarily accessible. I mostly watch BBC shows, anyway. My favourites are Top Gear (and Fifth Gear), Horizon, the Earth/Blue Planet/Life specials, and that kind of thing. For cooking shows I absolutely love “The F Word” and the “River Cottage” series. Jamie Oliver also does a great job with his “get the public healthy” series’. For “fiction” shows I like The Office (BBC), Mad Men, and anything with solid writing, interesting characters, and a good sense of humour.

Why do I get naked on the internet? That is a very good question! It all started back in 1998 when I caught my then-boyfriend looking at porn in the interwebs. I was SO MAD. SO, SO MAD. Soon after the site went live, I realized that I wanted to make a bunch of changes to add some more “me” to it, so I picked up a “Teach Yourself HTML in 21 Days” book and studied my little brains out! Now the design is mine, the changes are mine, and I am happy. Some of the fancier graphics I hired a designer for, I won’t lie. I’m not a Photoshop wiz! And I do have folks managing my “back end” (nyuk nyuk), but the front end is all me!

What cameras do I shoot with? Lots of people have asked what equipment I use to create my home made porn. My current camera is a Nikon D200, and I have a Sigma 28mm-85mm 2.8 lens for it. The little point and shoot I use is a Canon SD1400 IS that I *love*. It even shoots 720p video and has such a wide angle that makes it extremely handy for ummm certain points of view. For video I have a Canon HV20 with a Rode microphone and a Raynox wide angle lens (see above comment regarding certain angles!)
